**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Park Operations Assistant to join our team at Gloucester County. As a Park Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our parks, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.

**Key Responsibilities**
* Assist the public with matters of park usage and provide excellent customer service
* Prepare areas or buildings prior to events and secure them afterwards
* Open and close parks throughout the County
* Perform general maintenance and inspection of park grounds, trails, equipment, and facilities
* Maintain activity and park attendance records
* Participate in various fee collections for equipment and facility rentals
* Weigh and identify fish caught by park patrons
* Patrol park property on foot, all-terrain vehicle, bicycle, boat, or vehicle as needed to ensure the safety of park visitors

**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* One year of experience in park operations/maintenance work preferred
* Customer service and cash handling experience preferred
* Possession of a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets established Gloucester County Driving Standards
* Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and maintain First Aid, AED, and CPR certification
