About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced A&P Lead Mechanic to join our team at HQ Aero Management Inc. As an A&P Lead Mechanic, you will be responsible for leading a team of aircraft maintenance technicians and ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of aircraft maintenance technicians to ensure that all work is performed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable technical data, regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with production control and other departments to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team and the company.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three to five years' experience in aircraft maintenance preferred, with prior supervisory experience.
  • Education or training in aircraft maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training or experience required.
  • FAA certification and current driver's license required.
  • Standard Aviation Tool Kit.
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
Working Conditions

The A&P Lead Mechanic will work in a fast-paced aircraft maintenance environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
