Your Responsibilities

A typical day at My Spot is dynamic and rewarding, requiring empathy, analytical skills, and a commitment to enhancing children's lives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing evidence-based therapy interventions through engaging activities to motivate children and promote their progress.
  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and families, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
  • Providing guidance and education to families on therapeutic exercises and activities to support their child's development outside of therapy sessions.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and communication with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • Active Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Texas.
