Position Overview:

This position is designed to assist the Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) in their capacity as the Lead Systems Integrator (LSI) for various communication systems deployed on US Navy submarines and shore facilities. The primary focus of this role is to provide program management assistance, which entails liaising with system owners to gather scheduling and status updates, and synthesizing this data into schedules, presentations, and other formats for executive review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk management activities, including the identification of potential risks and the formulation of mitigation strategies to ensure leadership is informed.
  • Develop and manage documentation such as Security Classification Guides (SCG) and program acquisition materials.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools, particularly MS Project.
  • Experience in creating and overseeing project schedules.
  • Ability to assess schedules for critical paths, risks, and overall accuracy.
  • Experience in crafting and delivering technical and programmatic presentations.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with robust organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Secret to Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the US Navy or NAVWAR.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Possession of an active security clearance.

Work Environment:

  • On-site position.
