Job DescriptionAs a Registered Respiratory Therapist, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate patients, take samples, manage equipment, and provide treatment for patients with cardiac and pulmonary diseases. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and develop effective treatment plans
- Administer oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and other life-supporting interventions
- Operate diagnostic equipment, such as spirometers and oximeters
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- NBRC Certification
- BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS Certifications (AHA)
- Current state license
