Job Summary

In-Q-Tel is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Technology Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Enterprise Technologies Practice, you will work closely with our government partners to understand their technology needs and develop innovative solutions to address their challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical diligence on investments in assigned technical areas, including AI & Machine Learning, Enterprise Data Management, and Data Analytics.
  • Develop and negotiate Statements of Work contracts between IQT and start-up companies.
  • Provide technical oversight of work programs, assess deliverables, and identify paths for resolution of issues.
  • Leverage technical/market experience and understanding of government partner use cases to develop Global Competitive Analyses and situational awareness products.
  • Foster trusted partnerships with government partners and start-ups to develop technology architectures and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in one or more technical fields relevant to Enterprise Data Management, such as ETL, Data Streaming, Cloud Data Warehouses, and Data Orchestration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate complex technology subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline, with at least 5-10 years of professional experience in technology development in a business and/or intelligence environment.
  • Ability to exercise flexibility and good judgment in complex situations, with a strong track record of problem-solving and collaboration.
