CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a Primary Care FNP role. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary and family evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
- Perform administrative duties, including opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
- Be responsible for handling patient appointments, performing routine examinations, and ensuring positive patient health outcomes.
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.
- A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice is preferred.
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Ability to provide holistic, evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
