Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, counseling, and medication management services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring timely and efficient service to customers.
  • Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and potential interactions, promoting healthy habits and wellness.
  • Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, adhering to Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless operations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging health issues, medications, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting, with a focus on patient care and customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
