The Division of Rheumatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly qualified candidate for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. The successful candidate will serve as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, advancing a positive and effective culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion within the Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Division
- Provide leadership and management to ensure a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Develop and implement programs to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in research, education, and clinical practice
- Provide training and education to faculty, staff, and students on diversity, equity, and inclusion
Requirements
- MD degree
- ABIM certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
- Experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership or management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in academic medicine or a related field
- Experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion education and training
- Experience in program development and implementation
