Job Summary

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Equity Compensation Senior Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Equity Services group, you will be responsible for applying technical and analytical consulting skills to assist clients with the design and valuation of equity-based compensation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and adapt Excel-based statistical models for financial accounting and reporting purposes.
  • Refine and apply knowledge of compensation design and implementation practices to deliver high-quality client solutions.
  • Lead projects with minimum direction from more experienced consultants and/or serve as a team member for larger, more complex client engagements.
  • Interface and co-deliver presentations to clients.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative client solutions, including new plan design or implementation approaches across multiple client engagements.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of equity compensation or related experience.
  • Enhanced knowledge of equity compensation strategy, design, and implementation issues, including the valuation and accounting under ASC Topic 718 or IFRS 2, taxation and other technical components of employee equity.
  • Well-rounded understanding of executive compensation (e.g., long-term incentives, SERPs, deferred compensation, employment/CIC agreements, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work in situations where there is no unique right answer.
  • ASA, FSA, CPA, JD, MBA and/or CEP designations are desirable.
