The Assistant General Restaurant Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our restaurant, working under the direction of the Restaurant General Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and operations of the restaurant, ensuring the successful implementation of Church's initiatives and programs, and contributing to achieving or exceeding all established financial sales and profitability plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Restaurant General Manager in ensuring all employees are trained and equipped to provide exceptional guest service.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and prepare weekly schedules to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
- Provide support during high-volume periods and assist with administrative tasks, such as paperwork and inventory management.
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement and contribute to meeting established sales plans.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain a clean facility at all times.
- Understand, enforce, and adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
- Must have 1 year of supervisory experience working in the restaurant industry.
- ServSafe food safety training is highly recommended.
- Build a Strong Guest Culture: Make a special effort to exceed guest expectations, hold guests as the highest priority, and act as a role model for team members by providing exceptional guest service.
- Build High-Performing Teams: Promote a team environment by fostering respect, providing shoulder-to-shoulder coaching and feedback, recognizing achievements, resolving employee concerns, and communicating effectively.
- Maintains Quality and Safety Focus: Ensure that all food products are prepared consistently with Church's high-quality standards, demonstrate food and beverage operations, and maintain a safe and obstruction-free dining and work area.
- Drives Results: Establish clear, achievable goals, communicate each team member's role, and get results personally and from teams by effectively communicating performance expectations and holding team members accountable for getting results.
