Role Overview:
The EKG Technician is responsible for performing cardiac evaluations and ensuring that all cardiology services are conducted efficiently, accurately, and reliably. This role serves both inpatient and outpatient populations, as well as United Health Services staff and associated community groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrocardiograms and assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
- Prioritize services that directly impact patient care and support supervised staff.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cardiopulmonary services and familiarity with medical terminology.
Licensure and Certification:
Minimum Requirement:
- CPR Certification within three months of employment.
