About the Role

Saputo is a leading global dairy processor, and we're seeking a skilled Cheese Packaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective packaging of our high-quality cheese products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the packaging process for bulk and individual wrap lines, including the operation of scales, computers, and printers.
  • Maintain accurate records and observe package integrity failures, using correct labeling and coding procedures.
  • Operate handheld SAP scanners to scan pallets and labels, and stack cases of cheese at a rate of 8 per minute.
  • Lift and place empty pallets up to 70 lbs each, and document Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) procedures.
  • Follow all Safety, GMP, and SOP policies, and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform all job duties of the tail-off position for bulk and individual wrap lines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 70 lbs.
