Job Summary

Evaluate and treat patient populations for therapy needs in a dynamic and supportive environment at UCHealth. As an Occupational Therapist I, Childs Therapy, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions and develop personalized plans of care.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families to educate them about their deficits and provide guidance on adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Supervise and delegate care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and practice standards.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to address complex patient needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in Colorado, issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with a valid card in hand before start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
