About the Position

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking highly qualified candidates for an Academic Fellow position in its prestigious School of Law. This two-year appointment offers a unique opportunity for talented individuals to develop their research agenda, writing projects, and teaching skills. Key Responsibilities
Working with your assigned mentor, actively participate in and contribute to the Texas Law community through research, writing, and other academic opportunities in preparation for a career in legal teaching. Each year, you will teach one upper-level course or seminar of your choice or design, subject to the University's needs. This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, productive self-driven behavior, and strong interpersonal skills. You must have a proven ability to work as a member or leader of a team and present research to professional peers.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this Academic Fellow position is $75,000, plus benefits, including health insurance. You will also receive a $5,000 faculty account each year that can be used for travel to conferences, research, or other academic expenses.
