We are excited to announce a job opportunity for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at our Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) facility
This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises, focusing on recovery-oriented treatment and stabilization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration, to support clients' physical and mental well-being.
- Work collaboratively with therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Employ trauma-informed practices to de-escalate emotional or behavioral crises and ensure client safety.
- Offer education and support to clients and families on health and wellness, self-care, and the recovery process, advocating for their needs and rights.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, adhering to facility policies, state and federal regulations, and best practices for behavioral health and nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited LVN program in California.
- Active and unrestricted LVN license in CA.
- Prior experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, or crisis intervention is preferred, with a strong background in residential or community-based settings.
- BLS certification is required; CPI certification is preferred.
- Strong communication, de-escalation, and crisis management abilities, along with proficiency in EMR systems.
