Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Hampton Health & Rehab Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nurses and nursing assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
  • Follow established health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff in the performance of duties.
  • Ability to observe proper safety and sanitary techniques.
  • Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
