Compensation: $50-$60K

Role Objective: To leverage sanitation expertise and leadership skills to guide sanitation personnel.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a clean, organized, and sanitized production environment, confirming that all equipment is thoroughly cleaned to guarantee food safety and quality. You will be responsible for documenting and verifying that all tasks are completed in accordance with the Master Sanitation schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure completion, documentation, and maintenance of sanitation tasks as per the Master Sanitation schedule.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all production areas, collaborating with the team to achieve a sanitized facility.
  • Ensure that all areas, including aisles, break rooms, restrooms, and offices, are kept clean, organized, and in optimal condition.
  • Engage in monitoring sanitation issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Participate in daily departmental meetings, focusing on attention to detail and continuous improvement.
  • Meet or exceed expectations set by the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that required chemical training is completed and followed.
  • Collaborate closely with sanitation team members to maintain and communicate sanitation quality standards.
  • Manage in-house equipment damage costs through staff awareness and accountability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including verification of all necessary documentation as per the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and understand procedure manuals for chemical mixing and cleaning processes. Strong communication skills to effectively lead and interact with team members and management.

Mathematical Skills:

Basic ability to calculate chemical concentrations and percentages, along with problem-solving skills to interpret various instructions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant certifications.
  • Ability to work independently and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and early mornings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and manage challenging tasks or individuals.

Reasoning Skills:

Must effectively interact with all management levels and possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Ability to regularly lift at least 50 lbs and work in environments with varying temperatures.

This position involves working in a refrigerated setting with controlled temperatures ranging from 32 to 36 degrees Fahrenheit.

Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 2 hours during an 8-hour shift, and occasionally work overtime or weekends as necessary.
