Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production scheduling and qualifications within departments, collaborating with the Operations Manager to implement necessary adjustments.
- Ensure all job-related documentation is completed accurately, in compliance with FDA regulations.
- Develop and adjust room schedules based on demand and resource availability, demonstrating flexibility in response to changes.
- Maintain ongoing communication with team leaders regarding job processes, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives.
- Implement consistent personnel management practices, including training, safety protocols, and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct quality assessments and address any quality-related concerns promptly.
- Monitor and report on key business metrics, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Foster the development of Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders.
- Approve hourly timekeeping records.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives and participate in workshops on the production floor.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections and investigations as necessary, and providing employees with appropriate protective equipment.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing personnel, planning, and implementing lean methodologies.
- Proficient in handling controlled product documentation and applying lean processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with management levels.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles, with certifications such as Six Sigma or Black Belt preferred.
- Familiarity with MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shifts.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds as needed.
