Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adjust room schedules based on demand and resource availability, demonstrating flexibility in response to changes.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with team leaders regarding job processes, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives.
  • Implement consistent personnel management practices, including training, safety protocols, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct quality assessments and address any quality-related concerns promptly.
  • Monitor and report on key business metrics, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
  • Foster the development of Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders.
  • Approve hourly timekeeping records.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives and participate in workshops on the production floor.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections and investigations as necessary, and providing employees with appropriate protective equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing personnel, planning, and implementing lean methodologies.
  • Proficient in handling controlled product documentation and applying lean processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with management levels.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles, with certifications such as Six Sigma or Black Belt preferred.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shifts.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds as needed.
