As a senior-level role, you will direct and coordinate activities of team members and outside vendors responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on various types of Powered Industrial Equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE) maintenance work requests, determine priority, and assign appropriate resources.
  • Ensure team members comply with all safety, environmental, and manufacturing practices.
  • Communicate equipment breakdowns and estimated repair times to production and quality assurance teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors, management, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance issues and recommend improvements.
  • Document and report maintenance work performed and advise on future requirements.
  • Install special functional and structural parts in devices.
  • Lubricate and clean parts, equipment, and machinery.
  • Test and adjust equipment to meet performance specifications.
  • Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on fleet vehicles, including brake repairs, oil changes, fluid changes, lubrications, and safety inspections.
  • Perform external engine repairs, with internal engine knowledge preferred.
  • Work on vehicle drivelines, clutch replacements, electrical systems, and air conditioning systems.
  • Have knowledge of trailer lighting, air systems, brakes, and tires.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe shop environment.
  • Participate in and contribute to the company's safety program.
Requirements
  • Significant experience (typically 5 or more years) as a mechanic, including experience working on mobile equipment.
  • Experience with Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) systems highly preferred.
  • Mechanic team management/leadership, training, and/or mentoring experience a plus.
  • Able to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test.
