Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant dining environment? Anna's House is seeking a dedicated Host or Hostess to be the welcoming face of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patrons warmly as they arrive at the restaurant.
  • Provide accurate wait times and manage the waiting list efficiently.
  • Guide guests to their designated tables or booths.
  • Present menus and utensils, and introduce the serving staff.
  • Prepare tables with necessary items such as condiments and silverware.
  • Clear away used dishes and utensils, ensuring a tidy dining area.
  • Restock supplies in serving areas to maintain readiness.
  • Express gratitude to guests upon their departure and encourage future visits.
  • Coordinate with servers regarding seating availability.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting lobby atmosphere.
  • Assist guests requiring special attention, including families and seniors.
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Support the serving staff as needed.
  • Perform additional duties such as food running and bussing as directed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma preferred but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with restaurant etiquette and customer service principles.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to oversee the dining area.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 30 pounds.
  • Availability for weekend shifts is essential.
