Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Trans-Bridge Lines, Inc. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing various mechanical repairs on our buses, support vehicles, and company cars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
  • Diagnostic equipment knowledge preferred
  • CDL license preferred (required for 1st and 2nd Class Mechanic)
  • Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) certification preferred
  • PA and/or NJ State inspection license preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift in excess of 75 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, twist, turn, and reach
  • Ability to have full use of fingers and hands
