Job Overview

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a skilled Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate routing of materials, hardware, and equipment as needed.

The successful candidate will act as a conduit between internal teams by receiving, storing, and issuing hardware and equipment as requested.

This position interacts frequently with other departments including Engineering, Shipping and Receiving, and Quality in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.

The Warehouse Assistant will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and be responsible for working closely with Engineering, Test, and Quality departments to locate and route tools, hardware, and equipment to the warehouse for calibration.

Responsibilities
  • Works closely with Engineering, Test, and Quality departments to locate and route tools, hardware, and equipment to the warehouse for calibration.
  • Reviews receiving paperwork to ensure accuracy of calibration data.
  • Processes internal department requests for tools, hardware, and or equipment to be routed, delivered, or collected.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Requirements
  • HS diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • Strong time management skills and ability to excel in a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
