Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to engineering teams, ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with NASA's engineering standards and procedures.
  • Develop and implement engineering plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that projects are aligned with NASA's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program management, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in engineering project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with a focus on aerospace engineering.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
