We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Unit Supervisor to join our team at Montgomery Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As a leader in the field of short-term rehabilitation and long-term healthcare, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents and staff.

About the Role

The Nursing Unit Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and organizing unit activities and staff assignments, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care. This role requires a strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses
  • Communicate and direct services or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff
  • Identify and follow disciplinary action as stated in policy
  • Perform RN assessment to resident's post incidents or change in condition
  • Lead and direct emergency situations
  • Maintain accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, and census roster
Requirements

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, and elderly residents. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirable
  • Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred
