About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Winter Park. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all exams using established protocols and ensure proper patient identification and education.
  • Complete all exams in a timely manner and maintain a smooth workflow, minimizing empty table time.
  • Operate all imaging equipment safely and properly, adapting protocols as necessary for patients of all ages.
  • Screen patients of childbearing age and maintain a safe environment, minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Review all images and repeat exams as necessary for best possible results, notifying physicians of emergent findings according to established protocol.
  • Enforce MRI zone entrance and fire safety protocol.
  • May oversee QC, QA programs, and accrediting functions.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must be certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR).
  • Must hold state license where applicable.
