We are seeking a highly skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Swedish Medical Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex mechanical systems, including boilers, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain high-pressure boiler and mechanical refrigeration systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and testing procedures to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Assess and respond promptly to mechanical failures
- Interact with medical personnel, outside services, and inspectors to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
- Stationary Engineer License or equivalent experience
- 4 years of experience with high-pressure boiler and mechanical refrigeration systems operation preferred
- Ability to operate and repair steam generating and air conditioning systems and supporting equipment
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and testing procedures
- Ability to assess and respond promptly to mechanical failures
- Ability to interact with medical personnel, outside services, and inspectors
