Job Summary

Drees Homes, a leading family-owned home building company, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Superintendent Trainee to join our team. As a Construction Superintendent Trainee, you will assist an experienced Construction Superintendent in our Cincinnati Townhomes Division, gaining hands-on experience in the construction process from customer plan signing to the first year's warranty program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing the progress and quality of all jobs under construction
  • Set and maintain high standards of performance by subcontractors and suppliers
  • Control costs by managing material usage
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about the building process
  • Participate in subdivision and model maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety requirements
  • Create framing, mechanical, and insulation punch lists
  • Utilize internal software systems to track job progress
Requirements
  • 2-4 year college degree in Construction Management or related field
  • 2-4 years of construction-related experience (internship, short-term position, etc.)
  • Experience using an iPad is preferred
  • Passion for homebuilding and a drive to succeed
