Role Overview

We are seeking a flexible Medical Assistant/Patient Representative who is dedicated to providing patient-focused care and assisting an interdisciplinary care team in a dynamic women's health setting. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient daily operations of the practice while managing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about delivering an exceptional and compassionate patient experience for women and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate provider workflows to guarantee seamless operations, including:
    • Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and verifying that intake information is accurately recorded in patient charts.
    • Preparing rooms post-visit, including cleaning and sterilizing equipment after use.
    • Assisting providers during in-office gynecological procedures and examinations.
    • Performing other clinical duties as required.
  • Assist with the collection and interpretation of patient laboratory tests, including:
    • Blood draws.
    • Point-of-care (POC) testing (e.g., UPT, COVID, influenza, glucose, etc.).
    • Administering vaccines.
  • Support operational processes to maintain a clean and efficient environment:
    • Keep an updated clinical inventory list to ensure adequate medical supplies are available.
    • Restock exam and procedure rooms with necessary medical supplies, linens, etc.
    • Assist with managing medical records.
    • Help with light housekeeping tasks.
    • Comply with established practice policies and procedures while adhering to state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred 1+ years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector.
  • CMA and phlebotomy certification.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to organize and create structure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
