About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AR Specialist to join our team at Nelson Connects. As an AR Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our month-end close activities and optimizing the AR function to contribute to the company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Management: Ensure all costs are accurately entered and matched to the corresponding purchase orders (POs).
  • Order Review: Review orders to ensure accuracy and match internal orders to vendor costs. Process invoices per month, focusing on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Payment Processing: Process payments, including checks, ACH payments, and credit card payments.
  • Sales Tax Collection: Ensure the accurate collection of sales taxes for orders across various states and countries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in AR or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in Excel is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work through complex data accurately.
  • Desire to learn and grow within the company, with a long-term commitment.
