Job Title: Automated Time and Attendance Manager

Swift Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Automated Time and Attendance Manager to oversee all payroll-related tasks for multiple FEINs. Key responsibilities include collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, taxes, and deductions, preparing and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records.

This position requires excellent leadership skills to lead remote HR/payroll processors, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate should be able to investigate and resolve payroll issues while ensuring strict compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll and related activities, reviewing payroll statements and reports.
  • Solve problems concerning payroll, answer inquiries, and enforce payroll policies within established pay practices, company policy, and federal/state guidelines.
  • Supervise data entry into HRIS/Payroll Systems.
  • Assist in developing overall payroll procedures by recommending improvements or changes when deemed necessary for greater efficiency.
  • Train HR/payroll employees and audit their work on an ongoing basis.

Required Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with payroll processes, including requirements and federal/state labor and tax laws.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and strong typing/data entry skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy with numbers, and efficiency in completing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions and make accurate and quick decisions.
  • A proven record of working under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy in a high-volume processing and fast-paced environment.
  • A High School diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Four years of recent experience in payroll, including managing automated time and attendance systems, is mandatory.
  • Experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
  • Healthcare experience is highly desirable.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
