As a Fitness Coordinator with Aquila, you will play a pivotal role in supporting diverse individuals with varying fitness levels and goals. Your expertise will contribute to the comprehensive wellness of our clients, with a focus on both physical fitness and nutritional guidance.

We are seeking a professional with a proven track record in the fitness industry. The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented, capable of working independently, and adept at delivering both in-person and digital services. A flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, is essential to meet the needs of our clients, particularly those with unconventional work hours.

Salary and Benefits:

$58,000 per year, plus benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability coverage, paid vacation and sick time, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, continuing education reimbursements, performance bonuses, commuter pre-tax benefits, fitness retailers discount programs, and 401k plan with company match.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct benchmarking fitness assessments for personnel during the initial program phase.
  • Develop customized fitness programming and provide ongoing nutrition coaching; onboard participants into digital platforms for continued support.
  • Offer personal fitness coaching/training, group sessions, and educational workshops to sustain engagement and progress.
  • Fulfill reporting requirements for fitness program metrics on a regular interval as needed by client.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive wellness solutions.
  • Act as liaison on-site with Aquila's client contact.
  • Supervise and monitor exercise participants, perform exercise assessments, and exercise prescription.
  • Teach group fitness movement classes.
  • Assist with selection and supervision of group fitness instructors when needed.
  • Supervise exercise areas.
  • Educate members concerning safe exercise techniques.
  • Aid members - spotting and equipment usage & explain all equipment.
  • Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of all equipment.
  • Adhere to departmental and club policies and procedures.
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Assist in wellness and fitness promotions and external events.
  • Perform daily administrative duties.
