Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients, developing and implementing effective care plans, and providing expert psychological care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Prescribe and manage medications as authorized by state law, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health topics, including medication management and symptom reduction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field.
  • Current licensure to practice as a psychologist in the state of employment.
  • Experience in clinical psychology, mental health, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
