Position Overview

We are seeking a proficient and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to contribute to the mission of Metrodoc Urgent Care. In this role, you will be essential in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing treatment for individuals facing psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough psychological assessments through interviews, standardized testing, and observational methods.
  • Identify mental health conditions in accordance with the DSM-5 criteria.
  • Create and execute personalized treatment strategies employing diverse therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
  • Facilitate individual or group therapy sessions aimed at assisting clients in coping with their mental health challenges.
  • Engage in consultations with fellow mental health practitioners and work in tandem with primary care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in psychological research and effective treatment methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology (PsyD or Ph.D.)
  • Valid license to practice psychology in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills
