Position Overview

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist to play a crucial role in our team at Carespring.

Compensation Range: $15 to $36 Per Hour
(Salary varies based on Certification Level: STNA, Med Aide, LPN, RN)

In this role, you will oversee the staff recruitment, hiring processes, onboarding, and orientation for new employees across various departments. Your primary focus will be on employee retention and creating a supportive team atmosphere, working closely with the Staffing Coordinator for scheduling needs.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing the Recruitment & Orientation processes for new hires.
  • Notifying relevant departments about trends indicating increased turnover rates and morale issues.
  • Managing applicant tracking systems in collaboration with nursing leadership & facility administration.
  • Engaging with potential candidates via phone or text within 24 hours of their application.
  • Handling application processes, including reference checks, background screenings, drug tests, licensing validations, and other required documentation.
  • Coordinating interviews, onboarding sessions, and orientations for nursing staff.
  • Identifying and training capable staff members for the preceptor role with support from Nursing Leadership & Corporate Nurse Trainers.

  • Outstanding Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • The ability to maintain composure and convey information effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure compliance with company policies and maintain consistency.
