A Housekeeper at Summit Hospitality Group is not only efficient but also friendly and dedicated to making every guest feel welcomed and at ease.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping at recognized hotel brands is preferred.
  • A positive attitude and readiness to engage in assigned tasks with enthusiasm and respect.
  • Service-oriented demeanor with a professional appearance.
  • High energy levels and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to respond swiftly to guest requests.
  • Collaborative spirit and partnership approach with colleagues and management.
  • Interest in advancing to roles such as Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Promptly address requests from guests and other departments. Prepare and transport cleaning supplies to designated areas.
  • Gain access to guest rooms while following established protocols, ensuring vacancy before entry. Restock guest amenities and supplies.
  • Remove soiled linens from beds.
  • Replace soiled linens and towels with fresh items.
  • Make beds and neatly arrange towels. Clean bathrooms, dispose of trash, and collect used linens and room service items. Verify that all appliances are present and functioning in the room. Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances.
  • Dust, polish, and eliminate marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete necessary safety training and certifications; store flammable materials properly.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance in uniform; uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express genuine appreciation to guests.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Collaborate with the team to achieve common objectives. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
Work Environment:
  • Flexible scheduling is required, including availability on weekends.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.
  • Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Responsibilities may change, and additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
