Job Purpose: The primary objective of this role is to safeguard all assets of Choctaw Casinos while ensuring compliance with established protocols. You will be under the supervision of the Security Manager or designated personnel.
Compensation: Starting at $19.30 per hour | Full-time | Flexible Shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Access and manage computerized information systems.
- Investigate any unusual or suspicious occurrences.
- Assist in emergency situations effectively.
- Uphold security measures and adhere to regulations.
- Conduct regular patrols of both internal and external premises.
- Possess thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a daily log of all activities and incidents.
- Operate firefighting tools and communication devices, and provide CPR and first aid when necessary.
- Document incidents related to security breaches, accidents, theft, or vandalism and report to the Security Supervisor.
- Escalate hazardous situations or complex issues to a supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing all essential functions of a Security Officer, including passing a physical fitness assessment.
- A valid state driver's license is required.
- Basic computer skills are necessary for report writing and correspondence.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Annual qualification with department firearms is required.
