General Manager

At MV Transportation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage customer relations and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage and motivate a team of staff to ensure effective delivery of services and meet performance targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee the development and implementation of safety and training programs to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
- Ensure effective management of location finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Implement and promote company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent business management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in operations management and 7 years of management or supervisory experience in a transit environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
