Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Medical Assistant to join our team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital. As a key member of our cardiac care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of basic nursing skills and skills unique to the assigned clinical unit(s).
  • Assume delegated responsibility, which may include meeting the hygienic, nutritional, elimination, activity, comfort, and safety needs of patients.
  • Obtain and report vital signs (TPR and BP), perform urine reductions, transport patients, and obtain supplies/equipment as necessary from designated departments.
  • Individualize patient care using age-related concepts based on the unit population assigned, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, adolescents, and adult patients.
Requirements
  • Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
