Job Overview

At Calgon Carbon Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an entry-level position that involves performing various welding tasks under the supervision of an E&A supervisor or group leader.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing tack welding and finish welding of piping systems utilizing SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding procedures.
  • Tackling tasks to maintain a clean and safe shop environment.
  • Operating Fork trucks, jib cranes, and overhead cranes after training.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of welding experience is required.
  • ASME code welding is preferred.
Compensation Package

We offer competitive pay ($45,000 - 55,000 per year), excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, and retirement savings with a generous company match.
