We are currently seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team as a Millwright Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, are passionate about maintaining and repairing complex equipment, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for performing routine maintenance operations on equipment, such as oil changes, greasing, adjustments, and minor repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, with experience working with industrial equipment, including grinders, forklifts, cranes, welders, lathes, and more.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to fabricate hardware that may be required to support the maintenance operation and possess excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance operations on equipment, including oil changes, greasing, adjustments, and minor repairs.
  • Servicing and repairing most common industrial equipment, such as grinders, forklifts, cranes, welders, lathes, etc.
  • Fabricating hardware that may be required to support the maintenance operation.
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues and providing solutions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 3 years of related experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Working Conditions:

  • Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production, and non-production areas and plant grounds.
  • This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays.
  • Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
