Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and fluent bilingual account coordinator to join our Customer Advocacy department as a Bilingual Account Coordinator (Spanish) on the Collections and Recoveries team. This is a full-time, work-from-home position with a 4-day work week and full benefits.

About the Role

As a Bilingual Account Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving forward our mission of enabling financial progress by serving as the voice of Mission Lane, via live customer phone calls in a virtual call center environment. You will speak with customers who have fallen behind on their Mission Lane credit card payments, approach them with dignity and respect, and help them improve their financial health by negotiating payment or settlement plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive customer engagement and retention through effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their financial needs and goals
  • Negotiate payment or settlement plans with customers to help them improve their financial health
  • Work collaboratively with the collections and recoveries team to resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and goals
Requirements
  • 100% fluent in both Spanish and English
  • 1+ year(s) customer service experience, in any industry
  • Sales experience and comfortable negotiating
  • Curious, uses good judgment, and can quickly process situations to find solutions
  • Great listener and finds it easy to connect with others and build rapport
  • Stays calm during conflict and recovers quickly from difficult conversations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software
  • Growth-minded, a fast learner, and uses constructive feedback to learn and improve
  • Adept at handling change and enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
