This role requires a resourceful problem solver who can work independently while contributing innovative ideas to enhance operational and marketing effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical expertise in managing traumatic or acquired brain injuries and related neurological disorders.
  • Apply advanced rehabilitation techniques for clients with traumatic brain injuries.
  • Maintain professional licensure and certifications as mandated by the state of Michigan.
  • Conduct evaluations utilizing diagnostic and prognostic assessments of muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities.
  • Administer treatments aimed at alleviating pain, restoring function, and maximizing performance through physical modalities.
  • Guide clients through both active and passive exercise regimens, muscle re-education, gait training, and daily living activities.
  • Employ appropriate equipment as necessary for client care.
  • Educate clients on the proper use and maintenance of mobility aids and assistive devices.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Function effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Maintain attention to detail while working with minimal supervision.
  • Possess reliable transportation for travel between various program locations.
  • Compile comprehensive, individualized assessments of TBI-related concerns, ensuring timely and ethical reporting.
  • Provide bi-weekly progress documentation detailing functional improvements, coping strategies, and potential future interventions.
  • Contribute to the programming of a complex Neuro-Rehabilitation initiative.
  • Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations.

Compensation: Starting at $45.00 per hour

Expected Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Medical Specialty: Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine

Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Educational Requirements:

  • Doctorate (Preferred)
  • Master's Degree (Required)
  • Experience in Hospital or Inpatient Rehabilitation: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Experience in Outpatient Rehabilitation: 3 years (Preferred)

Licensure:

  • Valid Physical Therapy License (Required)
