Compensation: $18.50/hr.
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift (6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Continental / Block Schedule)
Position Overview
The Production Blending Specialist is tasked with ensuring that Refresco's products are of the highest quality and adhere to precise formulations. This critical role involves following detailed mixing instructions and monitoring the production process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient operation of blending equipment, including cleaning in place (CIP) systems.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout all processes.
- Source raw ingredients and document their usage accurately.
- Blend concentrates according to formulations provided by the Quality Assurance team.
- Operate pasteurization equipment to meet product specifications.
- Complete blend documentation accurately and promptly.
- Collect samples from tanks or containers as per company protocols and submit them for quality testing.
- Maintain effective communication with Production, Planning, and Quality Assurance teams during shifts.
- Sanitize production equipment and lines using approved methods.
- Conduct necessary quality checks and testing as directed by the Quality Department or Management.
- Follow management instructions and adapt to new operational policies.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, with the ability to interpret written instructions.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and complete tasks efficiently.
- Adapt to changes and manage unexpected situations effectively.
- Observe safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
