Job Summary:

The Center for Disability Services Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Educator to join our team. As a Support Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting students with severe disabilities in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher with activities designed to address student's needs as outlined on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Prepare classroom materials, provide direct instruction to students, and ensure the custodial care of students.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required; college credits preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Will be required to obtain their NYS Teaching Assistant Certification.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $18.06 to $21.25. Rate of pay is commensurate on experience.
