This customer service role is the first point of contact for patients entering the St. Luke's Wood River Family Medicine Clinic.


Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Access Specialist.


About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Registration, scheduling, and referral coordination for patients;
  • Discussions on financial options and/or explanations of insurance coverage, including authorizations, verifications, and estimates;
  • Utilizing various technologies, tools, and resources to support departmental workflows;
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications


To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:



  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent;
