Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Active veterinarian licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas.
  • No less than 5 years of experience practicing small animal veterinary medicine.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to influence staff and outcomes, flexibility to manage competing hospital needs, and effective partnership with hospital leaders and staff.
