Interventional Radiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Specialist to join our team at Novant Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist radiologists and neurointerventionalists with diagnostic angiography, interventional, and neurointerventional procedures.
- Perform diagnostic, interventional, and neuro-interventional procedures, maintaining a sterile field.
- Prepare and position patients prior to procedures and remain at their bedside throughout.
- Report changes in patient condition to appropriate personnel for follow-up.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding procedures.
- Administer contrast media per established medication review protocols.
- Document procedural information, perform radiographic image post-processing, and input procedural charges.
- Perform related duties such as cleaning work areas, replenishing supplies, assisting others, and reporting equipment malfunctions.
- May perform moderate or waived point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.
Requirements:
- Radiology Tech-Registered credential.
- Associate Degree in a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology technologist, preferred.
