Position Overview:
Market of Choice is on the lookout for a dedicated and full-time Area Security and Loss Prevention Officer.


The Loss Prevention Team at Market of Choice comprises skilled professionals who leverage advanced technology across various domains. The Area Security and Loss Prevention Officer will oversee all locations within their designated area and may also provide training and support to other locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will engage in both external and internal investigations, ensuring the safety of employees and customers, addressing vendor-related issues, and implementing effective physical security measures.

Some of the essential duties include:

  • Conducting surveillance to identify criminal activities
  • Documenting incidents and compiling robust criminal cases
  • Executing all other Loss Prevention responsibilities

Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals who have a keen interest in pursuing a career in retail Loss Prevention. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Exceptional observation and strategic planning skills
  • Familiarity with local and state regulations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficiency in MS Office, digital photography, and CCTV systems

Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in loss prevention, although all candidates are encouraged to apply. Availability for weekends, after-hours, and occasional travel is required.
