About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Inova Fairfax Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer sound patient care practices, adhering to department and hospital policies/procedures, to ensure patient safety.
  • Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
  • Demonstrate radiation protection/safety for patients, staff, and self, as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Provide clinical services according to radiology practice standards and act as a resource to radiography students and other technologists.
Requirements
  • Certification - American Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support certification upon start.
  • Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography certification within one year of acceptance.
  • Licensure - Licensed Radiologic Technologist within 12 months for INOVA non-Hospital Licensed centers.
  • Experience - None required.
  • Education - Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
